Doctoral Candidates Symposium

The Department of Business Administration of the University of the Aegean organizes the Doctoral Candidates Symposium, an academic initiative aimed at strengthening the Department’s research community and promoting scholarly excellence.

The Symposium serves as a dynamic forum for interaction, bringing together doctoral candidates, faculty members, and invited researchers to exchange ideas, experiences, and research findings. Through doctoral research progress presentations, thematic sessions, workshops, and talks delivered by distinguished scholars, participants engage in meaningful academic discussion, receive constructive feedback, and expand their professional networks.

Particular emphasis is placed on in-person interaction and the creation of a collaborative environment that strengthens ties within the academic community and supports the research development of doctoral candidates.

The Symposium was launched in its current format in 2026 with the 1st Doctoral Candidates Symposium and is expected to become an annual event that further enhances doctoral research and academic collaboration within the Department.
