Management – Business Strategy – Decision Making
This thematic axis covers areas of business administration, business strategy and policy, management science, and decision theory. Research focuses on enhancing organizational effectiveness, decision making under conditions of uncertainty, strategic adaptation, and the management of organizational change. At the same time, it includes issues of strategic marketing, market analysis, and business communication, within the framework of organizations’ overall strategic orientation.
Accounting – Finance – Economics
Research within this axis focuses on accounting information, auditing and cost accounting, financial analysis, corporate finance, as well as issues of economic theory and econometric analysis. Emphasis is placed on both firm-level and macroeconomic applications, as well as on topics related to corporate governance, financial stability, and risk assessment.
Operations Management – Quantitative Methods – Production Systems
This field encompasses research in operations research, production systems, and quantitative methods, aiming at process optimization, resource management, and the support of managerial decision making through analytical, statistical, and modelling tools. This axis covers research in human resource management and organizational behaviour, entrepreneurship and innovation, as well as tourism development and tourism policy.
